Stuart Avenue Street Party in Walton-on-Thames

Flyer Front

Born Too Soon Logo The street party was to raise funds for the Born Too Soon charity which supports mothers and babies at the pre-natal unit in Kingston hospital.
Katie Green (a midwife) helped by David and Tessa got stuck into organising the party and getting the residents of Stuart Avenue involved. Regular meetings with the residents, lots of communication and lots of hard work produced a viable plan and enthusiastic helpers. All of the residents were happy for the party to take place and many wanted to be involved in helping out in some way.
We had a fantastic party and raised over £4,000.

Hold Your Own Street Party

Street Scene It's easier than you might think - but does take a lot of planning and a lot of effort - but then it is great fun and you might just get to know your neighbours.
